Racer Days
Racer Days are open house style visits where students have the opportunity to meet the Office of Recruitment staff, professors, and student organization representatives. Students will also have the opportunity to meet with Financial Aid and Scholarship office staff. Campus tours will be available at the close of the event. Visiting MSU
MSU offers many opportunities to get to know the campus, its ways and its people.

Individual Visit
The Office of Recruitment office welcomes visitors to campus Monday through Friday, as well as on selected Saturdays during the spring and fall semesters.

Weekday appointments begin at 9:00, 10:00, and 11:00 a.m. and at 1:00 and 2:00 p.m. A typical visit consists of meeting with an admission counselor and a student guided walking tour of campus. This takes approximately two hours. In addition, you may request to meet with an academic department. If we are able to confirm that appointment, you should add an additional one to two hours to your visit time.

Saturday appointments begin at 10:00 a.m. only and consist of meeting with an admission counselor and a student guided walking tour of campus only. This takes approximately two hours.

Summer weekday appointments (May through August) begin at 9:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

Group Visit

Please note the following guidelines to ensure an informative and pleasant visit:

• You must register your group’s visit a minimum of four weeks prior to the date of your visit.
• Our Campus Visit Coordinator will contact you shortly after the receipt of your visitation request to confirm your visit date.
• Visit dates are limited to one group per day and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Murray State can accommodate groups up to 30 in size. Chaperones are required; a minimum of one per ten students is recommended.
• Visits are scheduled on Mondays OR Wednesdays only; preferably starting on the hour.
• A typical group visit will consist of an admission presentation, a walking tour of campus and lunch. You should allow three hours minimum and extra time at the end of the day if you plan to visit the University Bookstore.
• This is a walking tour; please have students dress for the weather.
