Students may elect to deposit money into a declining balance account. Freshman and sophomore students may use declining balance in addition to their REQUIRED meal plan purchase.

The dollars in declining balance may be spent like cash in any of the Food Service locations on campus and in the bookstore. Dollars may be carried over from one semester to the next.

Refunds are only available during the last two weeks of the semester or when the student leaves the university as long As the ending balance is $10 or more.

Additional declining balance may be added in any amount at the Cashier's Office, on the second floor of Sparks Hall, and checks and cash are also welcome in the RacerCard office (101 Curris Center). All students are eligible for declining balance and there is no minimum deposit to open an account.
